Quality Assurance
EXHEAT® is a Total Quality Environment committed to continuous improvement to ensure that customers' requirements are met and backed up by a level of service necessary to operate in today's global market place. EXHEAT® operates a Quality Management System in accordance with the internationally recognised benchmark standard ISO 9001:2000 and which additionally meets the Quality Assurance requirements of both the European ATEX Directive (94/9/EC) and Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) and the international IECEx scheme. Products manufactured for the European market are CE marked and meet the requirements of the European Low Voltage, EMC and Machinery Directives.
Certification
EXHEAT® holds approvals from Canada, Europe, Hungary and globally through the IECEx scheme for the manufacture of electrical heating equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres:
ISO9001:2000
EXHEAT® has been assessed by BSI Quality Assurance as operating a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 : 2000 and holds Certificate of Registration Number FM 26078.
The scope of this registration covers the design, manufacture and in-house repair of electrical heating and control equipment for industrial and offshore applications.
ATEX
EXHEAT® holds an ATEX Quality Assurance Notification for the manufacture of electric heaters, protective systems and components intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres - specifically Flameproof (d) certified ATEX heaters and Increased Safety (e) certified ATEX heaters, instrumentation, measurement and control equipment, enclosures, terminal boxes and terminals. Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
EXHEAT® holds approved certification for the design and manufacture of process heaters for installation in process piping, pressure vessels, steam generators and assemblies.
North America (CSA)
EXHEAT® is approved by the Canadian Standards Association to manufacture heaters for use in Hazardous Locations categorised by either Zones or Divisions.
